It promotes respecting the husband but not speaking, and giving sex regardless of if the woman’s needs were met. The premise is that men want to please their wives. What if they don’t? We can’t tell him what we need because that’s too much chatter! We can’t take the lead and show or explain because that’s emasculating.

Women have to find lower paying jobs to please their man but who’s telling them to find better jobs to compensate for the loss? The author does say men may feel extra pressure for being the sole breadwinner but they want that…

I struggle to believe that men can’t appreciate a true answer when they ask a question but we’re supposed to only agree and answer what would please them.

I was not the right audience. And I hope my sons have more self-respect and self-esteem that they won’t need their partners to be lesser persons.
