À propos de cet audio
The Book of Job: God and Human Suffering is a look at a difficult part of the Bible for many believers. If you've ever struggled to reconcile the goodness of God with the evil in the world, this book is for you. From a word-of-faith perspective, Job can seem very uncomfortable at first, but when we look at it in light of the rest of the Bible and what Jesus has done, it becomes a valuable inspiration and a testament to God's goodness. Rather than just skimming the surface, when we explore what Job says about who caused his suffering, what God says about it and what we can do about it, it becomes a timeless lesson on compassion, depression, grief, and recovery. Though we might feel the pain like Job did, we can experience God's goodness, healing, and restoration as well. A little Biblical context unlocks the keys to understanding this gem of the Old Testament while living in the New Testament.
