Such a cute story between a single parent nurse and the towns sheriff.
I’m not a fan of Insta loves, but I’m a fan of Devney Perry so of course I was going to read this no matter what!
I loved the Coppersmith farmhouse. I love how it brought them together. I love the whole story behind it with Ben. I was pretty much hooked from the beginning when they met at the hospital (both Ben and Jess). I just love the backstory of all the characters.
This single parent was done right. Ronin did not come off as an unrealistic child. And even with the narrators speaking in her voice, it did not throw me off one bit.
Some people may say this is a romantic suspense, but you really only get 2% suspense in the entire book and that happens in the last couple chapters.

Great listen!
Great story, very sweet and loving. Not too predictable but obvious there was going to be a HEA.

Just no.
If you like spineless FMC’s, MMC’s with borderline abusive anger issues and whiny annoying kids then this is the book for you.
If not give it a miss.

Huge Devney Perry Fan
As a huge fan I stuck it out to finish this book but it was hard. The main MMC is awful!! He is the type of man we hope our MFC leaves! Did not enjoy this at all!! He’s a JERK
