Masterful series with an ending leaving much to be desired.
Though I’ve come to love this series with a passion, the ending to the Cuckoo felt empty. I would recommend readers to holdfast from reading the last 4-5 chapters, and instead envision what the characters you’ve come to love would do. While it’s hard to say who the “good guys” and “bad guys” are in the series both feel like they were robbed of an ending befitting them.

Best fantasy story ever.
Best story, worst ending. Writers choice and im just happy to be able to read his story BUT the entire trilogy boiled down to nothing and absolute failure of the protagonist.

Well written and well read!
An excellent saga by Leo Carew. I read the first two and listened to the third as read by Matt Addis (who did a wonderful job). Carew successfully created a captivating story and universe, packed with lore, action, politics and betrayal. I would recommend reading the series to anyone that enjoys fantasy.
I will say the ending of The Cuckoo seemed a bit abrupt, but only in comparison to the detail rich chapters before it. That being said, I would and will still recommend reading the series as overall, it's great!

If you don’t want to be mad end at book 2
The beginning and middle were brilliant
The ending left me fuming.
Why he chose to end it this way is beyond me.
Maybe he wanted to be edgy??
Never been pissed at an ending ever but this one was fcking horrible.
The most I’ll thought out twist I could imagine.
