À propos de cet audio
Society, by statistical necessity, needs to focus on the majority. It needs to be built and designed for "the average". Society, by moral necessity, also needs to focus on the disadvantaged and disabled, helping those who cannot help themselves. But while the majority of society's resources, attention, and infrastructure is dedicated to average or below-average people, little-to-none of it is dedicated to the abnormally intelligent. And while having a high IQ is an overall net benefit in life, being a statistical intellectual freak is not without its drawbacks. Welcome to The Curse of the High IQ.
Whether you fall asleep during class, constantly ram heads with your boss, can't understand why people watch the Oscars, are an alcoholic, or are accused of having ADD, having a high IQ can be a maddening experience. What you see as the obvious solution is what the "normies" will fight against tooth and nail. Those Ds you keep getting in English? Your superior mind being held hostage by the boring and inferior mind of your teacher. And you'd like to start a family? Good luck finding an intellectual equal for a spouse. And so while the world obsesses on their own problems, no one is paying attention to the problems of the abnormally intelligent. However, that all changes now with Curse of the High IQ.
Curse of the High IQ is the first book specifically written for abnormally intelligent people. It identifies and addresses a litany of problems intelligent people face, analyzes them and provides solutions. But more importantly it aims to bring sanity to those who struggle with abnormal intelligence, especially those who are unaware they have it. So if you're constantly at odds with society, are suffering from depression or ennui, can't find any reason or agency in life, or just plain can't find any friends, consider purchasing this book.

This essay aims to inform the reader about the real mathematical chances of success he faces in the pursuit of women, as well as the modern-day risks, so that he may make an informed economic decision as to how he best invests his life. It also aims to align the reader's expectations with reality so his life is not ruined by delusion or hope, both of which have ruined millions of lives in the past. But in short, this essay is nothing less than the most important cost-benefit analysis any man will read.

For four generations men have been subjected to some pretty damning accusations. They're the oppressors of women. Their misogyny is the sole cause of the much-hated wage gap. They are guilty of the original sins of privilege and institutional sexism. And this says nothing about the rank mockery and, often times, outright hatred men receive in the media, government, and our schools. But perhaps the most damning accusation of them all is that men are no longer needed. That they are now somehow obsolete.

Histoire
For all of human history, men and women came together to form families. It may have been common, it may have been routine, but that is what they did. Generation after generation, for all of human history, men and women formed families. That is until now. Though humanity has never been to the point where women and men abandoned one another before, that doesn't mean there is not a limitless number of things life offers that gives it value. Whether it's hobbies, vice, philosophy, religion, your career, or your friends, the world offers a limitless menu for you to choose from.

Don't have enough money saved up for retirement? No problem. Never started a 401k or IRA? Don't worry. And are you so far behind in your personal finances you're worried you'll never be able to retire? It's all good. Because whether you know it or not, the entire US retirement system is horribly flawed and was doomed to fail anyway. And that's why every American needs to listen to Poor Richard's Retirement.

Never before in the history of the world has more time, effort, and resources been invested into a single generation than the Millennials. Be it incredibly expensive college degrees, perfectly privileged diets, life-coping drugs, uncountable therapist visits, even bending reality so everybody was impossibly a winner, no expense was spared for the most pampered generation in human history. But $30 trillion and 20 years later we have the biggest failure of a human crop in the history of the world.

Nobody should be going to college immediately after high school. They should be taking a two year road trip across the country to find out who they are and what they want out of life instead. But still, every year we send millions of inexperienced 18-year-olds down a path of debt, worthless degrees, poor employment prospects, commonness and misery. The results are two full generations of adults who wasted decades of their lives chasing dreams that would never come true.

Everything that thousands of men who started in dead bedrooms and lackluster relationships have learned and refined over the years, distilled into a single series of pro-man concepts. Dread is more than taking back your masculinity, but thriving in a society increasingly hostile towards men. Nothing gets soccer moms, feminists, and traditionally conservative wives angrier than watching men thrive in a way that may not necessarily benefit them (though it does if she's a value add to a relationship).

In this final master-work of The Rational Male series, Rollo Tomassi breaks down the fundamental mechanics of Game, intersexual social skills, and the nuts and bolts psychology that makes it work. The Players Handbook is not a "how-to" book, it's a "why-it-works" book. It’s not an instruction manual—it is the missing textbook on Game and understanding intersexual dynamics. Game is an adaptive set of social skills and best practices in navigating intersexual dynamics in a modern sexual marketplace.

Men have been conditioned to be the quintessential "nice guy". They're trained to be overly humble, kind to a fault, and that just "being themselves" is enough to attract and keep the woman of their dreams. Men are told to believe that conventional masculinity is toxic and to put women ahead of their own interests, passions, and purpose. This book exposes the comforting lies you've been told throughout your life for what they really are, enabling you to become a truly authentic alpha who chases excellence and leads a successful passion-filled life.

The centuries long psychological Civil War between men and women are starting to show its results. After decades of pursuing and achieving equality, the so-called women's movement has caused more of a wedge between the sexes as opposed to bringing them closer to together. With the decline in marital rates and divorce rates along with the increase in divorce rates and single motherhood, Coach Greg Adams takes us through the failures of feminism to highlight the fact that women have not progressed closer to men, they have descended further.

Good advice through the tantrum
Relatable advice for those who are smarter than the average bear, but be prepared for the author’s unbridled bitterness and sexist beliefs.
It is possible to be highly intelligent and compassionate. This book doesn’t take that approach.

This book will likely provide you little benefit.
At first I was convinced the author was not as bright as he claimed. I soon remembered I paid real money for his book. Aaron: 1, Me: 0.
He does make some intriguing points, but he draws stunningly pessimistic conclusions from his probably factual observations.

Blog "Book"
I stopped before the end of Chapter 3. It makes some solid points here and there, but it feels moreso like a temper tantrum blog post forced into a novel by an arrogant manchild. I will never get that credit back. Stay clear of this and pick something better.
