À propos de cet audio
In The Dalaly Way: Conquering Crisis, listeners get a self-directed workbook crafted by John Dalaly. He is a man of faith, family, and an entrepreneur who launched many businesses that employed more than 1,000 people.
One wrong decision influenced federal authorities to bring criminal charges against him for bribing a public official.
Wanting to make amends, John Dalaly accepted responsibility and pleaded guilty for the crime he committed. After a federal judge sentenced him to serve a 28-month term, John sought guidance through prayer. Those prayers inspired him to start researching what it meant to use time in prison wisely.
Through the Bureau of Prisons' website, he found an article on "Reentry Success," and learned the importance of helping people in prison prepare for law-abiding lives upon release. Those articles inspired him to stop thinking about his challenges and to contemplate ways he could contribute to his community.
Before surrendering to prison, John began writing The Dalaly Way to teach people strategies that they could use to begin preparations for success upon release. Participants in the course will see lessons and examples on:
- Developing release plans,
- Crafting a biography,
- Learning through journaling,
- Memorializing lessons by writing book reports.
John never asks anyone to do anything that he did not do. In the Dalaly Way, participants can work through a self-directed course. He hopes to help more people in prison prepare for law-abiding, contributing lives upon release.
"The Dalaly Way: Conquering Crisis" is not just a workbook. It's a companion for those in prison seeking to forge a path of hope, learning, and self-improvement. It shows an example of the blessings that come by living in gratitude, even while in crisis. It's an invitation to embark on a journey of self-discovery and emerge with a renewed sense of purpose and readiness for a brighter future.
