This is the second book in the series. It’s not quite as strong as The Hanging Tree, but it still offers a good, intriguing story. The sections with Nicole and Kyle were particularly enjoyable, and I looked forward to those chapters just as much as the intrigue surrounding what happened to Isabelle.

I love that this series is not just plot driven but character driven as well. This is the second book in the series that I’ve finished and I’m looking forward to continuing it.

I'm really enjoying this series. I listen to audio books while I walk, clean, take care of my kids. These books are not too series but are interesting and keep me engaged. I enjoy that it has a continuing story with the added mystery into each book.
