À propos de cet audio
Ever since its first publication in 1992, The End of History and the Last Man has provoked controversy and debate. Francis Fukuyama's prescient analysis of religious fundamentalism, politics, scientific progress, ethical codes, and war is as essential for a world fighting fundamentalist terrorists as it was for the end of the Cold War. Now updated with a new afterword, The End of History and the Last Man is a modern classic.

15 hours of soapbox speech ;-(
I did not get to finish the book... the prospect of listening to the author's 15 hour soapbox speech; voiced by someone with an annoying voice was just too much for me to bear.
The voice actor aside, my biggest complaint is that the book just goes on and on with the author asserting his conclusion without providing evidence to support his point. OK, I did not finish the book ... so he may have all of that at the end of the book. But that is a terrible way to make a argument! You want to layout your argument up front, provide evidence along the way, explain how it supports the overall thesis... so the reader can follow along.
In the end... the book could have been an opportunity to understand the optimism around the prevailing political events 30+ years ago. But instead, it came across as someone with an interesting idea decided to get on a soapbox for 15 hours.
