À propos de cet audio
"I’ve never had a conversation with Neale Donald Walsch that didn’t expand my thinking and touch my heart, and reading The Essential Path has the same effect. At a time when we so need hope, Neale shows us where to find it.”—Marianne Williamson, bestselling author of A Return to Love and A Year of Miracles
This program is read by the author.
“Deep inside you know Who You Truly Are. We all do. It's not a question of discovering it, it's a question of claiming it. Being it. And that's actually easier done than said. We're all just one decision away from The Essential Path. It's a path that could change a world that deeply yearns for a new direction.”—Neale Donald Walsch, author, The Essential Path
Our modern era is plagued by increasing alienation—we are seeing an “us against them” world. Everywhere we turn, we find ourselves divided from each other as never before across political, economic, social, and spiritual lines. As humanity is being torn apart right before our eyes—separating many of us from our friends and even our loved ones, from our hopes and dreams, from the natural world, and from so much that gives meaning and value to our lives—people are blaming everyone and everything around them for the collective problems that we have created ourselves. We are turning against each other, rather than to each other, just when we need each other the most.
Bestselling author of Conversations with God, Neale Donald Walsch offers a radical solution to the growing problem of humanity’s alienation. He invites us to question our basic assumptions about ourselves, about each other, about life and how it works, and about God, and to rethink the very definition of humanity. The Essential Path challenges every human to make a Daring Decision—to look at who we are and how we can choose to be, in a planet-altering new way.
With insight and spiritual perceptivity, Walsch peers into the heart of a broken, divided society, prompting us to ask the critical questions that have the power to transform our world.

Histoire
Something like 108 billion people have lived on our planet during its history, and despite all of the experiences in all of the lifetimes of all of those people, we have still not found a way to exist together in peace and harmony, much less create individual lives with a powerfully glorious, intrinsic meaning and a wonderfully joyful purpose. Life has such a meaning and purpose, but across thousands of years only a very small number of human beings seem to have really understood it. Until now. Now, everyone seems to be "getting it" all at once - and agreeing with one another, at last, that it truly is... The Only Thing That Matters.

This is a full on ad for Christianity
I’m really disappointed with Neale Donald Walsh. The first three books of Conversations with God were actually interesting and insightful. This, however, is embarrassingly bad. Might as well call it Christianity recruitment 101. According to Neale, everything good is God’s doing, everything bad is our fault. It repeatedly uses the argument if you don’t see how wonderful God is you just don’t understand. He repeatedly uses the oldest and most annoying argument for Christianity. God created everything good and nothing bad. And if you don’t get that it’s your fault for not believing hard enough. Bible thumpers will love this book, even though he misquotes the meaning of several Bible passages. Like most spirituality writers he relies on the ignorance of his fans. If you still have a mind of your own and can think independently and critically, and have actually studied the Bible, pass on this one. If you’re a Neale Donald Walsh fan, by all means fill your boots. Just don’t expect a lot of truth or fact. He even includes a lame irrelevant poem by his wife. The only good part of the book is a quote by Eckert Tolle, that makes up the last paragraph the book. The rest isn’t worth your time. Yuck!!!!!
