Great Book
#Audible1 This is a great start to a fantastic series. Sometimes the pacing can be a little slow but that is well worth the overall fantastic story.

good story so far! let's listen to the next!
A good story so far, the characters are well defined, the mystery and adventures are there, I will listen to the next one, but I do wonder where it's going with that many books!

Major Story, Minor Flaws
the story itself was wonderful and so was the narrator. However I did not find the two narrators voices to match and compliment each other. Instead it seemed thst they were telling vastly different stories.
this does not take away from the wonderful (sometimes too convenient, sometimes repetitive) storyline.

Great imagination!
This series was recommended to me by a friend. I love Robert Jordan’s imagination to create realistic characters along with fantasy creatures with names that can be related to real creatures & figures in life. The story is well written with great detail & a story line that keeps the reader wanting more. I would highly recommend this series to anyone who enjoys a great story of good vs evil with as many heroine’s as there are hero’s! Bravo! I am new to Audible & love the hands free experience. The book is read with very well done changes in voices for characters as well as a sense of being there.

Loved it!
In the beginning, the lady narrator will pronounce things differently than the man narrator, but she corrects herself later. I only say that she corrects herself because he reads the majority of the book. They both did a wonderful job and I started the next book immediately!

Imaginative gendered magic series
I enjoyed the imaginative look at a gendered magic system, and I thought most of the characters were well written, though not all. I appreciate the way the author wove eastern mythology into a story aimed at a western audience, especially given when this was written.
