Decent Story, worth a listen
Overall I enjoyed this book however, for some reason the narrator changes at really odd times for no apparent reason. I found the Male narrator to be a little dry though he was consistent with the various voices. the female narrator I found to be much more engaging and kept my attention more.

Great build up (and not much else)
Enjoyable but this book was primarily world building. Understandable considering this series has 14 books but it kinda dragged at times, especially considering it feels very familiar to many other fantasy series. The sequels are vastly more interesting and this book succeeds in hooking you in for the long haul.

My personal favorite Fantasy series
This is, in my personal opinion, the most accurate to human nature prophesized chosen one story. My absolute favorite fantasy series, and I've read a good number of series.

great story and masterfully narrated
I read The Eye of the World a few years ago and I enjoyed it. Listing to audio book made the story even richer for me. great performance by the narrators #Audible1

Review
when the reader changed randomly it was pretty distracting, especially the first time. it happens about 5-6 times. it's definitely a book that knows that there will be multiple sequels so the pacing is kinda slow. still pretty good, will listen to the next one

As good or better than reading it many years ago
Originally read it as a young teenager. Now almost 30, it brings back memories but also takes on a new flavour as an audiobook. Now to hope the Amazon Prime series holds up.

great story
was awesome loved that i could work and "read" from some of my fav books... only thing that was odd/off putting was the change in narrator that randomly change between the guy and the girl for no apparent reason and also the guy never put any pauses at the end of paragraphs when it would change people so a lot of times it would change people in you think it's continuation of the last paragraph but it wasn't until you randomly hear a name of a character isn't in that location
