Amazing

This was the first Stephen King book I ever read cover to cover, and wanted to read again. A coworker recommended Audible, so I made an account and grabbed it as my first book. Bronson Pinchot was a pleasant surprise as narrator and nailed every character. His narration was very immersive and made the work days fly by as I listened.

Great Fantasy!!!

Absolutely loved this book. I only wish king had made it longer. Went through it in almost 1 day; just couldn't stop listening.
It was an Excellent fantasy with a perfect mix of medieval and post modern apocalyptic times.

Great story, superbly performed

It's a fairy tale reminiscent of a Victor Hugo adventure. While the story is simple and predictable, it's still quite enjoyable to hear it unwind. The performance is great and the characters are really brought to life as individuals. Recommended.

King does Fantasy, and it works

Fantastic Fantasy from Stephen King! Check it out asap! The writing is good and enjoyable and the voice work on this audiobook is great to with the reading of the book. 5/5

Performer/Reader

Excellent performance by the narrator. Decent book by King; not his best. Glad to learn more about Randall Flagg

you should listen to this!

sadly, some words where cut before the end of the chapter, on many chapters. but overall, great story, great performance. i will relisten to in a futur time!

Great narration

I picked this audiobook as I am slowly completing all of King's works. Now I have to say that is completely different than what I was anticipating. This fairytale-esque story could probably be condensed to a 15 page children's picture book but this has been extended to a 10hr audiobook. There's no real twists or anything. Fairly predictable good guy vs bad guy. I wouldn't say the story was bad, it just wasn't...Stephen King enough for me. The narrator on the other hand was fantastic. At first I wasn't so sure but the character voices are amazing and his performance of Flagg was particularly creepy

Great performance

The reader made this novel come to life. He wasn’t shy to convey the feelings of the characters.

King keeps me coming back for more.

Interesting characters, good plot and enjoyable narration. As a constant reader, I wasn't disappointed. It made my travel time quite pleasant!
