À propos de cet audio
While many of us struggle to understand it, the Trinity is one of the most important teachings of the Christian faith. It defines God's very essence and describes how he relates to us. And while it can be a difficult concept to get our heads around, it is crucial for believers to understand how God explains his triune nature in his word.
In this book, James R. White offers a concise, understandable explanation of what the Trinity is and why it matters. While refuting the distortions of God presented by various cults, Dr. White shows how understanding this teaching leads to renewed worship and a deeper understanding of what it means to be a Christian. And amid today's emphasis on the renewing work of the Holy Spirit, The Forgotten Trinity is a balanced look at all three persons of the Trinity.
May this book deepen your understanding of this important doctrine while also drawing you closer to the triune God himself.

What used to be an exotic religion of people halfway around the world is now the belief system of people living across the street. Through fair, contextual use of the Qur'an as the primary source text, apologist James R. White presents Islamic beliefs about Christ, salvation, the Trinity, the afterlife, and other important topics. White shows how the sacred text of Islam differs from the teachings of the Bible in order to help Christians engage in open, honest discussions with Muslims.

On account of the superficial points of agreement between Islam and Christianity, many don't see how tremendously deep the divides between them really are, and fewer still have considered the evidence for each faith. How is jihad different from the Crusades? Can we know the life of Jesus as well as the life of Muhammad? What reason is there to believe in one faith over the other, and what difference can the Gospel really make?

A denial of the sufficiency of Scripture is at the core of almost every form of opposition to the Christian faith today. Scripture Alone is written to instill a passionate love for and understanding of the Bible. In this defense of God's inspired Word, listeners will comprehend what "God's Word" is, the nature of Scripture, the relationship of the Bible to tradition, how to apply Scripture to today's issues, and much more. Included is a faith-inspiring study of the canon - what it is and where it came from.

Excellent Book!
For those wishing to grow deeper in their Christian faith, this is the book for you. Understanding God as He is revealed in scripture is of utmost importance. The triune nature of God is the foundation of understanding the gospel, Christ’s work on the cross, His intercession, the roles reach Person takes in redemption etc. Highly recommended.

A good overview of the Trinity
Most of the book is about defending Christ's deity. The book is really thorough about establishing the concept of the Trinity. However, when it comes to the 'mechanic' of HOW the Trinity work, White work turn into word salad and often contradict without clarifying further. He regurgitate what orthodox beliefs are WITHOUT addressing the 'mechanic' of the HOW.
If you're looking for a book that will describe HOW the Trinity work (as in what is a model that coherently addresses the problem of the three in one Godhead), then you'll be utterly disappointed. But if you're looking for a book that advocate for adopting the Trinitarian model based on Scriptural data, and church's history, then this is gold.

Greatly educational
I would recommend anyone to listen or read this book, If you are wanting a fuller and greater apologetic for the doctrine of the trinity. Need to be clear on how we accurately describe the trinity and why we believe it and this book does that.
