Bennett James has built his career at being the best, on and off the ice, and now it's come back to bite him. Terribly rushed ending

Story is well done unilt the ending which was super rushed and ridiculous. I wish the auther spent more time closing the climax. 9 hours to weave a love story and 15 min to bring the characters back together after a great bethral. I wished it was done better.

The End Ruined a Great story

Last 30 minutes was terrible. I wouldn’t be able to so easily forgive someone who abandoned me. I get there was”proof” but she knew the full story and knew about the proof the first time too.

The end ruined everything

The book was so good but the last few chapters were so rushed. I don’t wanna spoil anything but at this point just stop reading at the last few chapters and tell yourself that they solved their problems end lived happily ever after. The performance was great though.

Ending too rushed

Like others have said, the ending is rushed. I wish we’d gotten more development of that part of the story. Instead I feel like the author changed her mind last second about writing a second book.

Also, some of Grace’s dialogue was so cliche I double checked to make sure the book wasn’t written by a man.

Overall story was good and the male narrator was pretty decent with the female voices, the female narrator a bit less with the different voices.

Great book

I was worried reading the reviews about the ending, but I loved it. I really enjoyed this book and found it delightfully happy. I smiled the whole time listening to it.

The ending was terrible

I was so mad at her … really hated this unreal ending. Out of character to the beginning of the book when she trusted and supported him. Ruined the book for me

Everything is awful

The male narrator sounded like an old man, the characters weren’t likeable, the story was bland. It was just awful. The only slight positive is that the female narrator was great, but even she couldn’t save it.

🙄

The term “slanted eyes” is offensive. I can’t believe an editor thought this was ok. Use “almond shaped” instead ffs.
