This was probably the most overly supernatural of the lot, but I'm ok with that. I liked it. It felt like a "mythology episode" (to make an X-Files reference, heh), where we learn more about the fictional world in which it's set, and get a few clues about the nefarious secret societies hinted at in previous books.
The main mystery was solid, and on the personal-lives-of-the-characters front... dang. Will McLean ever catch a break? Seem like every book ends on an Emma based cliffhanger.
