If you want a great translation of the Corpus Hermeticum 1, get Dr. M. David Litwa's translation, ordered as an initiatic path. That is the REAL DEAL! We are so lucky to have it.

Seems to me that Freeke and Gandy are sensationalist, and have a large following that are just lapping up the woooooo. This is better than what Jules Evola thought Hermeticism was, because at least this sticks to the text, but there is a canyon between sacred speaker and the listener, whereas Hermetism (for me) is direct from mouth to ear. Cheers.
