Best Narratation by Far
Thank God I have finally found an audio Bible that doesn't make me cringe. And to have George Guidall narrating Genesis, Exodus, etc. is again a godsend. I can finally listen to Romans for example and get the actual intelligence of Paul. No sentimental nonsense. Thank you. This is the Bible as Milton conceived. The fact it is not the KJV is a minor quibble. I would rather have the KJV for the Old Testament but it's actually better for the New Testament as the language of the New Testament is closer to modern usage. As many reviewers have already mentioned, the only drawback to this audio Bible is a lack of a index so you have to skim through many chapters to find what you are looking for. It would be great for Audible to have it reformatted. Now if someone could make such an intelligent dramatised version like the Word of Promise (which btw is just awful though it does give you a sense of how powerful the Bible could be). Besides being the Word of God the Bible is a truly great narrative and should be treated as such. It is easily as compelling as the Greek tragedies, Homer, and Shakespeare.

A very well read version
New testament is not read completely. While listening to Mark or Luke the old testament starts being read. This needs to be fixed.
