On my first day, I receive a mysterious package. I open up the pretty gift box to find a miniature doll version of me trapped inside a dollhouse. In this scene I’m dead, lying in a pool of red paint at the bottom of the perfectly recreated staircase. Someone sent this threatening diorama to me, but who even knows I work at the hall? And what do they want?
I know only one truth: my perfect job is turning into my perfect nightmare.

Good story and kept me interested throughout. Would recommend I’d you like KL Slater very similiar writing style.

I listen to podcasts at bedtime I found overall it was a great book and it wasn't too gory that you couldn't sleep. well. narrated and well-written

Can’t beat it for a free audible books
Narration was everything! After my previous monotones narrator this was a wonderful change and kept me hooked from the beginning.

Worth a listen but no major twists or suspense
I thought the first half was better than the second as many other listeners have mentioned. I really enjoyed the way the house and characters were described...I could almost visualize everything. But the plot was so so and quite predictable. I forwarded the last hour of the book and still managed to put everything together.

excellent narration
I loved the narrator. The story was good but slow to start. Once it picked up it was a good story for its genre. There is nothing outstanding but perfect since it's included in membership

Unnecessary last 40 mins
As such not a bad story at all, but the last part was totally contrived. Had it ended earlier it would have been a much better book.

I was skeptical but I couldn't stop listening, I usually fall asleep to my books but this one I had to listen and then turn off before I would fall asleep. I couldn't wait to find out what was happening next.

a solid mystery-thriller but nothing outstanding
The narrator was excellent -- very pleasant to listen to with lots of character. The story and writing was good, but after reading many books in this genre I found it very predictable and mostly forgettable.

Twisty, and Terrific
I binged this book, the reader was very authentic and did an awesome job with hitting expressions.
the author wrote this book to completely draw you in. I was there. In the scenes as they played out with every chapter.
This book had so many good plot lines and I was constantly pointing my finger at different characters, right up to the ending. I recommend this book to any thriller-drama enthusiasts.
