Description
Disgraced detective turned private investigator, Ray Clancy, left the force with a case unsolved. Finding the killer was no longer his problem, but it still haunted him. How long would he survive the frustration of not knowing before he gave into the compulsion of his nature to solve the crime?

Decent story
Tor Thom is a terrible narrator. Kirt Graves is excellent as usual - I really wish he’d been the narrator for the entire book. Story was okay, I would have enjoyed it more if not for TT’s performance.

Underbaked
The characters and story are decent. It's just so rushed and the bulk of the story felt like it would have some form of payoff but it didn't. the actual relationships between the two main characters is instant and shallow.
It's very tell, no show.
Needed some polishing.

Great story full of twists and turns.
I really enjoyed this story - it was an interesting plot with twists and turns, and I loved the two main characters (and some of the side characters!). The narration wasn't as great - some of the voices, particularly Benji's, were extremely annoying amd there wasn't a lot of variation between voices. I sometimes felt it was difficult to tell the difference between the two main chadacters' voices.
