Chris Ryan’s Brutal Signature with Excellent Naration

I like Chris Ryan, his stories are always rough, hardy and full of British SAS badarsery.

The narrator Michael Fenner suits the theme with excellent accent work and interpretation. He almost acts out the story like a play, got my buy in after three chapters. I would be interested to see how this translates to other audio books as I’m not sure how he would do any other Chris Ryan character differently.

The story comes to life in the second half, things start coming together and twists become slightly more foreseeable.

Worth the read, but if you are a Chris Ryan fan like me and know his style, you might just see some of it coming. Still enjoyable regardless.
