Nesta is a complicated character. Traumatized and victimized but her growth is a great story. Another Chadwick Masterpiece

I was riveted from the start

I really enjoyed The King's Jewel. The only character I had a hard time with was Nesta. I thought her selfish and undeserving of her loving husband (not sure how much of it is fiction and how much fact)! Totally worth the read.

I have listened to nearly all of Elizabeth Chadwick's audio books. This was a plesent change of narrator.
Loved her lilting Welsh acent.
The reason the 4 star for story I didnt think it was one of the best for EC
