Great story, performance issues
Book one: The story was phenomenal but was unfortunately overshadowed by the worst narration I have ever come across. I did not finish listening to this book for this reason at 42%. If you like listening to a whiny 16 year old teenage girl who’s living in the “omg no way!!!!” world, then this is your narrator. I went ahead and purchased the physical book to read the story from a different perspective because there was no way I could fathom to think that Ava Harisson created such a character . I was glad I did, because the story had a complete different feel.
Books 2-3: beautiful job and narration. Storyline had the perfect mix of steamy scenes and romantic angst.

Olivia’s constant use of cocaine and the details of using will set off triggers. I’ve never used but I found it very disturbing and extremely uncomfortable. I’m not sure I can finish listening to the book.

Impressive yet problematic...*spoiler alert*
It's great that the author was willing to broach certain social issues since it makes the story more realistic and interesting. However, there were gaps in the way some of the issues were presented. Yet, what the author did delve into was presented well. A few portions of inner & outer dialogue didn't flow naturally. Yet, the rest of the dialogue was 'on point'. LOL....a side note: The Lancaster Brothers could use advice about appropriate boundaries regarding their exes. ....especially book 1 'eye roll'. All in all, the books were sexy and interesting.
Book 1: There was a big 'elephant in the room' in this book...a double standard regarding the hero & heroine's issues. Some of the heroine's issues were dealt with fairly well is some regard. However, only one of the hero's issues was broached and it was given minimal text. Also, his use of alcohol to deal with problems wasn't even disected and yet the heroine's addiction was front & centre. I was wondering if this double standard would be balanced out in future books. However, the way the hero related to others was only touched on, in part, again in book 3.
Book 2: Although the story line was interesting, it would have been better if the process of solving the problem was focused on more rather than including a few unnecessary sappy parts. Too much whining in a few parts; not enough problem solving. Nevertheless, it was a unique book that held my attention.
Book 3: This book was well written. Considering the hero & heroine were at 2 differing places in their recovery, I thought the presentation of issues was well balanced and 'on point'. Impressive how the author showed the family dynamics in a realistic way.
All the narrators were great especially considering the intricacies of the material.

Two Out Of Three
Was sooo looking foreward to this book...but almost quit by 4th chapter of 1st book...however, I forced myself to finish the 1st book even though I skipped through some areas of the female narration...I am sorry Ms Langola, but your voice grated on my nerves...whether you were trying too hard to express yourself, I am unsure but your voice came across on the whiny/shrill side at times...storyline seemed to drag on also...as always, I did enjoy Aaron Shedlock's narration...2nd book was better...love listening to Virginia Rose & Christian Fox as always...3rd book was my favorite...Andi Arndt & Joe Arden, what more can I say...love these two!!!

Great Listen
Loved all three books. Spencer, Grant and Pierce were great characters. You really should listen to this.

Great book trilogy!
I really enjoyed this book trilogy. I wish the editing for book 3 was less choppy.
