À propos de cet audio
Sir William Strongstaff is dead, and the defender of England and its kings is no longer there to battle the French. His chosen knight, Sir Michael of Weedon, is removed as the new king’s bodyguard, and he is sent to France, where the king’s uncles are trying to finish the job begun by King Henry V. From the outset, Sir Michael and his men are beset by treachery and intrigue. The line between ally and enemy appears to be almost invisible. When the Maid of Orleans becomes a threat, then Sir Michael and his men become the only hope for the English to hold on to what they have. The struggle is not only for England’s crown, but also the French one!
In an audiobook filled with historical characters like Jeanne d’Arc, the Duke of Bedford and Sir John Fastolf, Sir Michael grows into the knight who will fill the void left by Sir William Strongstaff whose shadow stretches from beyond the grave.

HEARD IS PRONOUNCED HERD, AND OTHER ISSUES!
I seriously have to wonder why someone who can not read is narrating an audio book!
All I can say is that it becomes extremely annoying when you find yourself constantly correcting the individual reading.
I will use "heard" as the example word because it appears so frequently, and when listening to this narrator you know exactly how frequently, because he doesn't pronounce it correctly.
I don't understand at all, "heard " is word that usually appears in context how can he not know what the word is?
Livery is another one. I think when reading a book based on knights, kings and the like who are wearing "Livery" one ought to know that the word is pronounced LIV ERY NOT LIVE ERY!
BYW: planes also have Livery.
