When John Callum arrives on the wild and desolate Faroe Islands, he vows to sever all ties with his previous life. Scottish to Faroe to French to Danish...

Tim Gerard Reynolds is a true performance artist. His body of work as eclectic as his range. Granted, his Irish accent peaked through the scottish at times, but what a challenge of accents. His cadence was SO good, enriching every nuance of Robertson's prose. This was much more than a murder mystery. A morality tale with incredible insight into aggression; a must listen for anyone who cares about what matters. The Faroe Islands come alive and stay with you long after you are done. Also leaves you with a strong desire for Icelandic gin made from Faroe water and botanicals.
