On a warm spring evening, guests gather in a perfectly manicured garden to celebrate Maggie and Len’s twenty-fifth wedding anniversary. Impeccable story and performance!!
The last sentence was perfect. A perfect way to end an impeccable storyline. I loved it. It's my fave thus far!

Another great book
The narration was again perfect! It really brought the characters alive, and made it hard to stop listeming.
the plot was great, and the twists and turns had you really guessing. I recommend highly to those mystery lovers! Beware though. I had trouble turning it off!

Great suspense !!!
I enjoyed this book very much. What a nail biter. Had me listening from beginning to end.
A really great book with the most unexpected ending . I could not tell from one to the next who did it. Kept me guessing which I loved.
Good narration and a good book.
I found it was a bit long winded with Maggie reflecting so much on each of her thoughts. I fast forward an entire chapter of her going on and on.
Could have been shorter.
Overall it was an amazing book and I loved the ending and the Epilogue.
It was offered in Audibles plus and it absolutely is worth a Credit. Thank you Audible.

Enjoyable and Emotional
I have listened to every book in this series. They are well written with emotionally charged scenes. I really think the reader really does an excellent job

Favourite so far
I have been bingeing the series, and so far this one left the greatest impact. There were less characters but they felt more impactful for me than the previous interesting but more shallow stories in the series. Aside from many other viewers, I enjoyed Maggie’s character. I don’t think she was stupid, but traumatized. I liked how throughout the story we saw her perspectives change on herself, life, and the people around her. The last part of the story made me emotional, and I enjoyed how it came full circle. I saw the twist from the beginning, but perhaps that’s because this is the fourth book I’ve listened to so far by the author. Love the narrator as well. On to the next!

Suspenseful!!
This story definitely kept me entertained with its twists and turns. I would highly recommend listening to it. The only for me was I didn’t like how the author wrapped up the ending.

So good!
This is my first time reading Anna-Lou Weatherley. I didn’t realize that it’s book 6 of 8 in the Detective Dan Riley series. Ooops! I absolutely loved it. The story is so intricate, not missing any detail. The author does a fantastic job of keeping the reader interested all the way through and I was so impressed that she took the time to tie up all the loose ends at the end. Narration by James Lailey was amazing!! Can’t wait to read the rest of the series now.

not my cup of tea
