From the beginning to the end it grabs you I can’t wait till I start the second book highly highly recommend this book

Not as expected

I am enjoying the series (I’ve just started the 2nd book). So , actually what they are is 2 books in one. And they are not really connected in any way except the person in the “present” day story is telling the story she “sees” in the historical stories. It keeps jumping back and forth between the two. So the present day story could have all been written in one book and the historical sections could all be separate books on their own.
I think I was kind of thinking “Outlander” kind of series. Nope.
But like I said, still enjoying.
