Story is good. I wish the narrator could use different voices for the characters though as they all mostly sound alike.

I was usure of this book at first, but having listened to it, I have thoroughly enjoyed it, and would definitely add it to my collection. I can't wait to listen to the next book, and hope that more follow. The story and characters feel alive, and the pace is well timed. None of the characters over power the others, in that, they all have imperfections. They are individuals trying to figure things out, and make their way through a tangled web of circumstances, that at times are out side of their control. The depth of the story is as also of remark. There are plots and wheels turning throughout the story and I love the mystery behind the military involvement. It gives the book a feel of things going on behind the scenes that even the reader doesn't know about. I would recommend this book to anyone that wants a good, solid read to occupy their time.
And will be checking the book stores for a physical copy....or 2 :-)

I find the story pretty good, it provides for new and interesting situations and tension points that you don't get in other chosen one save the world kind of stories. The characters in the story are believable and I think there is potential going forward. The one thing I could do without was the Christian mocking talk and comic book idea, I know that many people believe that the Christian God is no more real than Norse or Greek Gods but I don't find it funny and making one of the mockers Catholic doesn't make it better. That being said I plan to continue listening because the premis of the story is intriguing and I want to see where the author goes with the idea.
