Some nightmares you can't forget

From the depths of sleep, Seattle TV reporter Anna Malone awakens to her phone ringing. She rarely drinks, and this hangover is brutal. Why can't she shake the feeling that something terrible happened last night? And why can't she recall any of it?

honestly I couldn't finish listening to it. whoever is reading this sounds like a robot and it was hard to get through. whatever I heard it was interesting but the narrator ruined it. I'll just read the actual book myself.

narration is horrible the worst I've heard. sounded like my husband reading to me not a professional, hard to get through, not sure why publishers would let this through

The book is written with predominantly female characters but the narrator is male. Why? I’m getting frustrated with this scenario, it makes connecting to the story a challenge.
