À propos de cet audio
The definitive guide to working with - and surviving - bullies, creeps, jerks, tyrants, tormentors, despots, backstabbers, egomaniacs, and all the other assholes who do their best to destroy you at work.
"What an asshole!" How many times have you said that about someone at work? You're not alone! In this groundbreaking book, Stanford University professor Robert I. Sutton builds on his acclaimed Harvard Business Review article to show you the best ways to deal with assholes...and why they can be so destructive to your company.
Practical, compassionate, and in places downright funny, this guide offers:
- Strategies on how to pinpoint and eliminate negative influences for good Illuminating case histories from major organizations
- A self-diagnostic test and a program to identify and keep your own "inner jerk" from coming out
The No Asshole Rule is a New York Times, Wall Street Journal, USA Today, and Business Week best seller.

It's about the stuff you learn when you've worked for a boss you'd swear jumped out of a Dilbert cartoon; worked in a business whose performance careened up and down like a runaway clown car; faced legal or ethical problems that needed the wisdom of Solomon to sort out while they roiled your guts at night; and sat on the stand across from some third-rate Perry Mason or tried to be one yourself.

Stanford Professor Robert Sutton weaves together the best psychological and management research with compelling stories and cases to reveal the mindset and moves of the best (and worst) bosses. This book was inspired by the deluge of emails, research, phone calls, and conversations that Dr. Sutton experienced after publishing his blockbuster best seller The No Asshole Rule. He realized that most of these stories and studies swirled around a central figure in every workplace: THE BOSS.

finally saying it out loud.
i have been struggling with work place bullies because I have a disability and need accommodations. some coworkers hate it so much and think I don't deserve special treatment. I wish I worked in a place with no assholes, or that I was not disabled just like these "perfect" ppl. This book helped me feel normal and when you normalize something you feel less alone. Thank you Dr Sutton

Should be called "The No-duh rule"
Let me save you a couple of bucks and a couple of hours .. being an asshole isn't a nice thing, and it makes people feel bad.
There you go .. I would've thought that it doesn't need a book with multiple chapters.
