À propos de cet audio

It's a tough job, but somebody's got to do it. Guts, glory, danger, and sacrifice are all in a day's work for Hank the Cowdog, Head of Ranch Security. While investigating a murder on the ranch, Hank finds himself the number-one suspect. He resigns and heads for the hills to become an outlaw. A band of ruthless coyotes are happy to teach Hank the trade. Will Hank be forced to raid his own ranch?

Hank sings "How Do I Do It?" and Rip and Snort sing "Me, Just a Worthless Coyote" in this hilarious adventure for the whole family.

Ce que les critiques en disent

"Hank and his tales are hilarious....John R. Erickson's expressive, versatile, and energetic performance brings his own creation to life perfectly. Music and sound effects throughout complement this delightful tale, which will have listeners howling at Hank, the coyotes, and maybe the moon." (AudioFile)

This book is so entertaining for the kids and for the adults! I highly recommend it!!

So funny!

The depiction of the coyote "tribe" using horribly negative stereotypes of Native Americans (primitive, inarticulate, smelly, drunk) was a large part of the book and was very unpleasant to listen to. My kids have never been exposed to these stereotypes before so had no idea what comparison was being drawn but it's 100% clear to an adult. Also the non-stop background music was unnecessary and irritating. On the positive side, the relationship between the two dogs at the ranch had funny moments.

Racist depictions

My kids (7 and 9) were really entertained by this story until my husband and I had to abruptly stop the audio to have a conversation with our kids about the racist portrayal of the coyotes. DO NOT RECOMMEND

Great!... until racist portrayal of coyotes
