À propos de cet audio
A small town, forced proximity romance from Wall Street Journal and USA Today Bestselling Author Devney Perry.
Trapped in his tiny mountain cabin, she didn't expect to fall for his big heart.
Exposing a prominent criminal family with an investigative news report didn’t exactly work out the way Sabrina had hoped. Instead of basking in the glory of her article’s success, she’s on the run from a powerful man who wants her dead. To stay safe, she’s forced to trade one bad situation for another. Stuck in the Montana wilderness, she’s secluded from anything resembling civilization or the modern-day world. The only good thing about her situation is the gorgeous mountain man assigned to protect her. Too bad he isn’t the slightest bit interested in a city girl like her.
Beau likes his life quiet and simple. Give him a peaceful day hiking in the woods with his dog, and he’s a happy man. He has no use for large crowds, noisy cities, or dramatic women. So when a hotshot reporter rolls into town, dragging her big-time problems with her, he should have run for the hills. Instead, he volunteered to keep her safe. Bringing her into his world won’t be easy, but if he can convince her that Montana isn’t as terrifying as she believes, they might just be the perfect match.

I was looking forward to this book, before I even started this entire series. I was excited for the suspense and the forced proximity!
I really don’t know how much the book delivered for the suspense aspect. But it 100% delivered for the first proximity! Ahhhhh!!!Sabrina couldn’t have been hiding out at the outpost with anyone else. Her and Beau were just perfect together. He was so sweet but so manly at the same time.
One thing that bothered me was that she was supposed to be hidden from literally everyone. But she kept getting exposed, and it made me a little frustrated because they just welcomed other characters to her location??? Like obviously it was going to backstab her eventually.
I was going to give this four stars, but the whole ending with Antonio really threw me off. It was a little bit too easy like all of a sudden these big mafia dudes were out of the picture. I don’t know about that….
This was my first time listening to a book with Aiden Snow as a narrator. It was like listening to another version of Batman, with the deep voice and the level of his voice sounded like he was whispering it was hard to hear. Between him and Ava Erickson I had to adjust my volume all the time. It was a little bit annoying.
