À propos de cet audio
Every new American president has a plan to bring about peace between the Israelis and the Palestinians, and every one fails. Every "peace process" has failed in its primary objective: to establish a stable and lasting accord between the two parties, such that they can live together side-by-side in friendship rather than enmity. But why? And what can be done instead?
The Palestinian Delusion is unique in situating the Israeli/Palestinian conflict within the context of the global jihad that has found renewed impetus in the latter portion of the 20th century and the beginning of the 21st. Briskly recounting the tumultuous history of the "peace process", Robert Spencer demonstrates that the determination of diplomats, policymakers, and negotiators to ignore this aspect of the conflict has led the Israelis, the Palestinians, and the world down numerous blind alleys. This has often only exacerbated, rather than healed, this conflict.
The Palestinian Delusion offers a general overview of the Zionist settlement of Palestine, the establishment of the State of Israel, and the Arab Muslim reaction to these events. It explores the dramatic and little-known history of the various peace efforts-showing how and why they invariably broke down or failed to be implemented fully.

Must read if this never ending story interests you
The clash of civilizations explained, and why this issue is no closer to a solution. Plenty of quotes and proof from either side and simple enough to fact check. The conflict is complex, but the same has been going on for far too long. A compromise means concessions must come from both sides

Enlightening
Very convincing! This book shed much light on the forever ongoing war between Islamists and the state of Israel. The narration was very good and the book was entertaining.

Had to stop listening to it.
I'll do my best not to let the rating be biased. I think the book is nicely written and performed well; However, I was concerned with some of the statements made in Chapter 4 when I cross-referenced them with other historical accounts. I did some research on Robert Spencer and found the following:
"Spencer has been studying Islamic theology, law, and history since 1980, but his publications on Islam and Muslims have not undergone academic peer review. They have been published by publishing houses that specialize in the writings of political conservatives, mostly Regnery Publishing or Bombardier Books."
The book makes good points, but I won't listen to it if some of the claims are false. I'd rather listen to a more objective view on this conflict.

Read the title
This sounds like a neutralized, journalized study onn Arab-Jewish relations, except goes directly to claiming that Philistines never existed until Israel was created, Jews have been here for 7,000 years and have always been on the raw end of negotiations for land and rights. If you believe that Trump is the saviour if Israel, and that Carter, Bush, Clinton, and Obama are the enemy, go ahead, listen. If you believe that the extermination of Palestine is the eventual and only solution, then this book is for you.
The narration is okay, and got me through it.
