À propos de cet audio
"John Paul II showed me what real leadership looks like. He modeled for me how to pursue our God-given potential. Not coincidentally, this also makes us and those around us better employees, more capable of and more willing to work hard at building a stronger company. That's something that makes both good human sense and good business sense." (Andreas Widmer Former Swiss Guard, CEO and business leader)
Andreas Widmer gives a behind-the-scenes look into Pope John Paul II, the most authentically human person he's ever met, and reveals how those memories shaped and forged his success as a corporate executive. In what papal biographer George Weigel calls a powerful example of leadership at work, Widmer recounts his personal experiences serving Blessed Pope John Paul II in the Swiss Guard, and the secrets of successful leadership that he learned at the feet of the great pope.

It was so easy listening to this book. I got glued to it from start to finish. I listen to it while doing my laundry. It made me look forward to during my laundry chores. I highly recommend this to anyone who wants to integrate Faith, work, settings and ambition. I this is one of those books that you can listen to again and again. It was absolutely worth the money i spent for it.

Exceeded my expectations!
Excellent books for all Christians! You do not need to be a Catholic to listen and appreciate this. If you believe in the existence of God, this book have many insights on how to glorify God in your field of work and tips on becoming a succesful happy career person/ business person while having good ethics and moral virtues at the same time. Some of the key things I learned are: all things should be in moderation, not too much nor too little. You should aspire to be excellent by doing your best in what you do because all of your talents, abilities and capabilities were given to you similar to that when a loving parent give colors, pencil to a child, is up to you to make a beautiful art out of it and to develop your talents, abilities and capabilities to the best you can so your art even becomes more beautiful and blesses others. The book also emphasize work life balance. Develop gratitude and appreciation of the present. If you have gratitude then you will never neglect the wonderful things that you have like spending time with your family. Sure you can work hard but you will also make time with people that matters the most like your family and friends. There are many good key points to take. The message of the book becomes more profound in chapter 1, time 50 minutes and moving forward.
