Works if no abuse is involved
I have learned since listening to many audio books, that if you are living in an abusive situation, these type of books are not always helpful. It’s really hard to know if you’re living in a an abusive situation like this. This was my personal experience. So using this type of a book and following it can possibly make this abusive situation worse. If you are question that you may be living in an abusive situation, you should seek professional help before listening to a book that requires change only from you. There needs to be a give-and-take from your partner too. There needs to be confession with repentance, remorse, and accountability for both partners. Keep yourself safe look for help from a professional counsellor and apply the correct applicable biblical standards accordingly. I hope this review helps someone who may be in an abused relationship.. The church doesn’t always understand or recognize this and/or support this view on abuse. May God bless and keep you and make His Face to shine upon you and grant you Peace. Amen
