The government is attempting to jump-start the economy once more after a solar geomagnetic storm took down the electrical grid and the economy with it. Politics and a religious cult leader who is a descendent of a Kudzu salesman threaten to upset the survivors' plans to restart their lives as the stresses of rejoining civilization and bureaucratic red tape mount. This collection contains two books: Fades the Light and A Diary of a Kudzu Salesman.
