I should have known better after listening to the previous book. I liked the Rabbits podcast, but it really didn't translate well, IMO, to novel form. All the stuff I nitpicked about the podcast is magnified here, weak character development, goofy prose, and half-formed world building, which is expected in a serial podcast, but not so much in a published book.
