What an excellent book. I just wish it were longer! While the book was long enough to weigh the possibilities and motivations for those who rescued others lives, and the lifelong impact on them, I was engaged in the storyline of the rescues of artists and intellectuals and wanted more depth. If Horn were to write a longer treatment of this topic, I’d gladly buy it.
