My first, only, audible review.
I’m newish to audible. Only listened to about 15 books so far.
This is by far the best audio book I’ve listened to, the narrator delivers it perfectly- true to the spirit of the book.
The book itself is harsh, difficult, important.
Thank you audible. This was truly a moving experience.

Love this
This book is dark, with funny moments and gets you really invested into the character. The narration was amazing and the voice was perfect for the tone of the novel. I definitely recommend this book.

A Definitive Post-Apocalyptic Novel
I could listen to this book numerous times and learn something new about myself and humanity each time. The characters are so well written. The narrator is compelling and engaging. I highly recommend this title!

Fantastic story.
Great narrator, you can picture everything that is happening. I knew it was going to be amazing 5 minutes in. As soon as I finished listening to it, I restarted and listened again.

Stechshulte is sensational
Tom Stechschulte does an amazing job narrating this miserably beautiful tale of a father and son trying to survive in a post-apocalyptic world that is grossly unforgiving. At times a little verbose, the atmosphere of this dismal world is gripping and gut-wrenching. The end had me close to tears.

Dark but not unbearable, very real.
Never listened to anything like this. Was worried it was going to be to sad for me, but even though it is very said, it still uplifts you in odd ways.

oh ma heart
beautifully written, beautifully read. elegance in the pain. captures something that cannot be described with normal words. An ending that rivals all great endings and to me came out on top.
