can't listen to it

I didn't get through the first chapter. The narrator uses an inflection that doesn't match the emotions implied by the words. The voice over emphasizes syllables and pauses at weird places. Almost feels robotic. It literally was causing stress to listen to. if I was the author of this book I would be very disappointed at how it was represented through the narrator. I will have to purchase and read this one myself, gave the story 5 stars as I feel like it should be a good one, but I can't know for sure because I couldn't continue listening.
