Parker is back in his seventh novel, where he teams up with six other crooks to steal the box office for a sellout college football game. The score is blissfully easy, but while they wait for the heat to die down, the girl Parker has shacked up with is brutally murdered. Soon seven thieves are pointing fingers at each other, while Parker tries to surreptitiously work with local police to find the killer…but more importantly their take. It’s an excellent whodunnit with a wildly violent climax that leads to a cold-blooded ending. Stephen R. Thorne does a spectacular job for Audible, in bringing this motley crew of heavies to life.
