Good book
I love the details of this book and how it explains why some women stay in abusive relationships. I love the way it shows how wrong we could be in our judgments of others. I hope it helps others to understand and be less judgmental.I enjoyed the narrator’s voice.

AMAZING… Wonderful Story
This book was a great listen . It had me hooked from start to finish and the suspense and creatively twisted story was unexpectedly diabolical in so many ways.
I absolutely enjoyed this brilliantly written book and will definitely look for more books by this author. What a wonderful story and imaginative from beginning to end. I really enjoyed the twisted story line.
It was beautifully narrated with the narrator taking us along on this amazing journey. Her voice and tone pulled you along with every chapter.
Definitely worthy of a CREDIT.

Beautiful story narrated by the perfect voice.
Loved the writing and details in this book. The author had some really comical lines with Maggie’s character that had me laughing out loud. Such a wonderful book about a blended family while also providing some shockers to the plot along the way. I highly recommend this.

A quiet book that keeps you going because you know it’s travelling somewhere wonderful. The characters are so perfectly developed and woven into the story. I may read it again now that I know the ending it was that good.

Couldn’t put this one down!
I finished this book in less than 2 days, it was very believable with just enough twists and turns to keep me guessing!
It’s unfortunate that this is so relatable to many but I hope it’s possible that reading a book like this clears the fog and sheds new light for those in these situations and opens the path to better roads/options ahead…..
I’ll be choosing this book as our next bookclub pick!

Could be used as teaching tool
This story explains very well the slow progress of abuse, coercive control, financial control, the over time psychological toll it takes. If anyone needs education on why someone stays, how it happens, this book is for you. If anyone looks at someone who left a picture perfect life and thinks they are nuts because of what is portrayed publicly, there are closed doors. A life like this may just be why. Sometimes you don’t know you are in it until you are too deep. Sometimes you are out for years before you realize how bad it had been. Like I said, this is an amazing book that could be used easily as a teaching tool.
This will make my favourite books list.
