surprisingly entertaining
Because it is short, billed as a oreq6and contains violence and disturbing scenes warnings, I expected to find this challenging to enjoy. I chose it by way of introduction to the author and the series. Quite happy I did. It contains none of the warned sensitive content so not sure what that was about, but it is an engaging listen with excellent character development and pretty solid plotting. will definitely proceed to the next in the series and now suspect this author could bec6a stable for me.

nail biter
Thoroughly enjoyed I can't say enough about Dervla McTiernan's skill in weaving you into her stories. Do read you won't be disappointed. It's hard to be a woman in the good ole boy's clubs but in Ireland, I'd say doubly having lived there not really in the 21st century with women yet. Good solid read.

Dervla and Aoife ftw again
Great story! Very enjoyable female leads, and a satisfying story arc in this novella. I would like to hear more from these characters, but I’m not sure I’ll be so lucky. McTiernan and McMahon are fast becoming a favourite combo in my Audible library. If you like them, you’ll like this.
