À propos de cet audio
Ophelia and Thorn arrive at the observatory of the Deviations, an institute shrouded in absolute secrecy and overseen by a sect of mystical scientists who secretly conduct terrifying experiments. There, they hope to discover truths that will halt the destruction and death and bring the world back into balance.
Now that the distrust between them has been overcome, they love each other passionately. However, they must keep their love hidden. Only in this way can they continue their journey toward an understanding of the indecipherable code of God and the truth behind the mysterious figure of the Other, whose devastating power continues to bring down entire pieces of arks, plunging thousands of innocents into the void.

A fun journey but disappointing end
I loved the first and second book of the series. The writing was fun and the story was unique and cozy. The 3rd was still enjoyable and fun in it’s difference to the rest. I was scared to listen to the 4th book since I saw all the reviews that seemed to all conclude that the last book felt sped through and not satisfying. I unfortunately have to agree. I felt there were so many un answered questions that seemed to lead somewhere but never did. The fact that each book previously was on a different ark but this last one stayed on babel felt redundant and confusing. I love some abstract theatre and was still enjoying the book to the halfway mark to some extent but it definitely was a bit too much all at once. Still recommend the first 2-3 books and they will forever stay as some of my favs but I am sad knowing that I will never feel like the story completed in the way it felt it should have.

Very disappointing final installment!
The book is 1/5 but the 2nd star is for the narrator. I love the 1st and 2nd book. The 3rd was tolerable but this last one was very painful to get through. I have to agree with a lot of readers that it was rushed, with plot devices that were way more complicated than they needed to be and overall lacked what a lot of what the readers enjoyed about the series; its characters. Ending was super disappointing.
