Mediocre, but enjoyable.

Very predictable, with one dimensional characters and a soap opera storyline. I was expecting a little more, but it was an entertaining summer listen.

over use of a word

Great over use of the word "said". It is different when listening. It is not pleasant.

Diverting story, horrible narration

I can’t believe big publishers let this book go out into the world with this quality of narration — the person who read Hannah was fine, the guy was mostly okay, the narrator who read Lainie should seriously reconsider their career choice. Laughably terrible and made me hate all of the characters. Also, don’t even think about trying Scottish accents.

So Mediocre and terrible Narration!

I’m so disappointed. I wanted to love this book. I can’t get past the terrible narration and the flat characters.

Awful narration

I absolutely love Emily Giffin's books, but the narrators butchered this story. I never leave written reviews, but I feel compelled to this time. Please read the book instead of listening to the whiny and irritating voices kill what would probably have been an enjoyable story!

How true love works in mysterious ways

Emily Giffin is my favourite author and I’ve now read every one of her books. This on did not disappoint. I love the romance, the struggles and the ending.
