À propos de cet audio
Modern science and classic spiritual traditions agree: regulating the breath leads to radiance and wellness of body, mind, and spirit. With the simple teachings and cutting-edge research offered in The Tibetan Yoga of Breath, you can start thriving just by integrating breathwork into your daily practice.
Basic Yantra Yoga techniques - also called wind energy training - are the key to achieving this kind of vitality, down to the cellular level. Anyen Rinpoche and Allison Choying Zangmo skillfully examine the teachings of Yantra Yoga and Buddhism through the lens of Western medical science. Their wise and accessible instruction reveals practices that are nourishing and transformative, delivering dramatic results - no experience with yoga or Buddhist meditation necessary.

Grounded in the Breath
Excellent content and a solid performance. Short enough to listen to multiple times; this helps one understand and absorb the content. Practice breath yoga daily as a result of the book.

Lots of good "nuggets" here.
The number of bookmarks I use in a book is a good indication of how many good "nuggets" were in it that I really want to keep track of for future reference. This book has a pile of bookmarks in it!
I've been what I would consider an amateur meditator for more than 10 years, and I would have to say of the 70 or so titles I own on mindfulness, Buddhism and other spiritual training that this one ranks high as an excellent guide for beginners and experienced seekers alike on how the breath has such a profound impact in all aspects of our lives.

Deceptive title - it is about
I thought this book was about Breath. It is a false front. If you did not know and want to know about suffering from the Buddhist perspective - interspersed with some breathing practice from the Tibetan Buddhist perspective - this book is for you. Otherwise do what I did and buy James Nestor's book Breath!
Have participated in IMS Buddhist meditation retreats from 1990 to 2012 so have nothing against Buddhism, it is just I did not need to be lectured on Buddist ideology in a Breath book. You will find the Tibetan Buddhist Tummo breathing practice in James Nestor's book without the religious ideology.
