Read if you like Word Bearers and Cultists

An interesting side story of the HH. I may be bias though as I really like the Word Bearers. Follows a chaplain on his literal and figurative descent into madness through the underworld of Calth. The story does a good job of showing that they are committed to the path they have chosen but struggle from internal conflict and the breaking of old bonds. I really enjoyed that the Word Bearers were learning to use the chaotic powers (if you will). Mistakes are made on the way and things go sideways real quick.

Jonathan Keeble is a great narrator as always.

Overall a good read but not necessary for the continuation of the HH main storyline.
