the story, excellent
liked the way she shows the struggles of athletes and the mental health struggles, glad she did the different takes of the ending and how there are different ways out of your predicament, think of the people left behind and how your Life can be better.

Masterfully written
The take 1's broke my heart, but at the same time made this one of the best reads. An ending that not many are willing to write about, that of dark sometimes out weighing the light. I cried listening to your take 1's. Thank you for braving that story line.

Heart Wrenching, Devastating, Hauntingly Beautiful.
I'll be absolutely wrecked by this novel for years to come. I found it frustrating, devastating, gripping, and incredibly heart breaking.
Abby was magnificent as always. I will listen to anything she narrates but after this I will also read anything Jen writes.
Warning to others do not listen to either Take 1s or 2s while driving unless you can pull over and have yourself a full break down.
I had to take a break between Take 1 and Take 2 because my heart hurt too much to continue.

Be aware that this isn't a "Feel Good"piece of work.
I feel like I got blindsided. I bought this book, especially in this genre because they are typically a feel good happy ending source of escape.
A place to go to escape the ridiculous crap that goes on in life .
99% awesome...and then 1% Are you freaking kidding me!!!
What a shitty, depressing peace of work.
