Good but not my favourite
I read this book many years ago, but this was my first time listening to it. I do wish that they had gotten an actual French person to narrate, as Lestat was French. I could listen to a real French accent allllllll day, it’s beautiful. This one sounds too much like a Count Dracula impersonation.
I also took a star off the story, just because it’s a bit verbose. I feel like it could have been written in half the number of words, without affecting the storyline or it’s presentation/impact at all

Awesome!!
Ive loved the Vampire Chronicles since I was a teenager, Lestat was always my favorite character, it was addictive to revisit the book again and the narrator was perfect for the book he made it even better than before, I recommend it to anyone who wants a real vampire book and not that poorly written Twilight bullshit

Bloodsuckingly Good
Anne Rice has a way of pulling you in, and making you not like Lestat one moment and having sympathy for him the next. It was very fun to listen to, and couldn’t stop talking about it! I can’t wait to get into Queen Of The Damed.
