Really enjoyed this story. I wouldn’t call it “gripping” but it certainly did keep me listening and interested in the characters as they developed.

The narration was top notch. I think if this story was read by a lesser voice artist, I would not have enjoyed it as much. The narrator did an excellent job of voicing the many characters, differentiating them not only in tone but also in personality. I will absolutely be looking to listen to more books by this narrator!

Characters and world building were great, enjoyed it right up until the end, where I felt it wasn't wrapped up as well as I would have liked. Worth the listen, thought provoking and timely in our current economy. Interesting themes. Look forward to reading more from this author.

Narrator took some getting used to but the story is what really draws you. What scares you is how accurate this book is in predicting what the future may be like. I was really excited for this book and it did not let me down.
