À propos de cet audio
After one too many failed inventions, Julian has hit rock bottom.
Summoned to another world where gods and monsters roam, Julian continues his streak of bad luck. Rather than touching the Godcore directly, he let his smartphone absorb it. Now, he's got to figure out how to make the Godcore and his phone work together to help the people who summoned him survive their upcoming annihilation by the mad God of Chains.
He's going to have to innovate his way out of his bad luck. Good thing Julian has a plan - he's going to build a factory in a medieval world.

Something Different
This story was something different from the usual "Core" themed books. The MC is human and makes mistakes, and honestly, it is mistakes that a lot of us would probably make in the same circumstances. So far I would call this book a decent foundation for more, and since I know there are a few more books in the series I hope they also migrate over to Audible as well.

Expected better.
I was truly expecting something epic and instead I got cringe. The main character was not your traditional protagonist; in fact he was a complete and utter whiny loser. A loser who stays a loser to the very end. The side characters are forgettable and the ones that a more involved with main character tends to be annoying with lackluster motivation and performance. The story could have been something with real potential but instead it became boring and tedious. I actually finished it in a day because as an audio book it can easily stay in the background. As such I was not upset when I missed anything. If this was a book, I would have dropped it by early on. That is how unremarkable the story was.
The only way I was able to stay partly focused on the story was because of the narrator. By far the most annoying performance I heard in a long while. The main character is a doormat nerd of some sort and the narrator expertly created a truly annoying nasally voice; like nails on a chalkboard. The strange part, except for one of the side characters, he voiced "normal" everything else normally. The whole thing was not worth it.
