Where there are people though, there are complications, including the murder-y kind.
Add a few ghosts, giant beasts, and a new god too, and...well...life’s hard for an old man trapped in a young boy’s body. And things are about to get much, much tougher. Still, all that wisdom and experience have to count for something, right?
Eight: The Way of the Hunter is part mystery, part ghost story, and all adventure. Follow Eight as he fights for his place in a new world using a System made of paths, soul marks, attributes, talents, and skills to explore it.

Waiting for the next one
Not just a generic isekai litrpg

Philosophy Wrapped in a Fantasy
I've always loved fantasy stories and philosophy, though I mostly pursued the former, but this is one of the best stories I've read that has combined the two so seamlessly every step of the way.
The story was a beautiful blend of that sense of Old Wisdom philosophy has, delivered in a wonderfully well built fantasy world. It dives deep into the themes of trust, relationships, and morality (among others) and is a story I'd recommend as more than just an fun fantasy.
I'm absolutely going to get the next one when it comes out!

Captivating developments
Mc continues to develop, as the world is revealed in a not so fast pace but entertaining. combat is not taken lightly or for granted despite mc talents. Very well written, graet overall.
